February 24 in Room 6

Pre-Calc 12: Your lesson is here. Make sure that if you get stuck on a question you look to the review questions. For exercise #11, those start around question #8.

Pre-Calc 10:
Your lesson is here. I'll likely quiz you again early next week. Make sure you're keeping up with all of the questions in your assignments.

Math 9: Some review work for you to have complete for tomorrow along with 3.1, and 3.2. Make sure that you show your work on loose leaf.

Physics 11: Mark (click on the link for the answers) and hand in your 'Chapter 3' Assignments. If you think you deserve part marks put a question mark next to the question. Finish the 'Chapter 4' handout for tomorrow.

Graphing Lines with Intercepts

The link above will take you to a good website that explains the idea of intercepts really well. Read it first, then take a look at the video below.

February 13

This week has been a difficult one because of the bad weather. We've been out of our routine and it will be difficult to get back into it after another long weekend. I've posted some notes for today for Pre-Calc 40, and Physics 11 to get us through the weekend.

Next week we'll try to get back into a routine, which will mean that every class will be having their weekly test at the end of next week. Study hard and be prepared for that.

Have a great weekend.

Freezing Rain-and some homework to try...

I know that not all of us will be able to look at this today, but if you find this and have some time will you please find your lesson listed below and take a look. It will save us some time later in the semester-when the weather is nice and being outside is more likely than it is today!

Pre-Calc 12

Pre-Calc 10

Physics 11

Physics 11-Position-time graphs

The link above (click the title of this post) will take you to one of my favorite sites for physics. It will explain the topic and give you some questions to try with a link to check your answers. At the bottom of each lesson there will be a link to advance to the next section. If you can, work your way through to the end of Lesson 4.

Bad Roads and Pre-Calc

So, on day two of bad roads I thought I'd make a quick post just in case you had your work at home with you. The truth of the situation is that if we don't cover this lesson now, we'll have to double up somewhere down the road.

The link above (click on the title of this post) will take you to a lesson on Trig equations-it solves equations in the general case. That is what the "n" is about-if you like you can ignore the "n" for now and we'll cover it tomorrow.

Enjoy the day!

Exercise #7: Slope

If you happen to have your work with you, here's a straight forward lesson to get out of the way.

PC 12-Exercise 4

The link above will take you to today's notes. I'm going to place a link to my first class page and try to post class notes regularly so that if you miss a class you can still check the blog.
